Replacement
  • Wear gloves to protect your hands.
  • When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver or a trim tool, wrap the tool with protective tape and apply protective tape to the surrounding parts to prevent damage.
  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove the interior trim parts so as not to damage the surface.
  • Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Remove the rear bumper cover. (Refer to Rear Bumper - "Rear Bumper Cover")
  2. Remove the pin-type clips of the rear bumper wiring harness (A).
  3. Loosen the mounting screws, then remove the bracket (B).
  4. Remove the retaining clips, then remove the rear bumper beam assembly (A).
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
    • Make sure the connector is properly connected.
    • Replace all damaged clips.
