WARNING
Doors must always be properly closed and locked while the vehicle is moving. If the doors are unlocked, the risk of being thrown from the vehicle in a collision increases.
WARNING
Never leave children or pets unattended in the vehicle. The temperature inside a closed vehicle can rise to very high levels. Leaving pets or children who cannot exit the vehicle unattended puts their lives at risk. Children may injure themselves by operating vehicle equipment, and face other hazards, especially if someone enters the vehicle.
WARNING
Always secure your vehicle:
If the vehicle is left unlocked, there is a greater potential risk of someone hiding in your vehicle or hiding from others. To secure your vehicle, always shift the shift lever to the P (Park, for automatic transmission) or 1st gear or R (Reverse, for manual transmission) position, apply the parking brake, then turn the ignition switch to the LOCK/OFF position, close all windows, lock all doors, and always carry the smart key with you.
WARNING
Opening a door when something is approaching may result in damage or injury. When opening doors, watch for vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, or pedestrians located nearby.
