DEPOSIT

  1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the engine cover.
  3. Disconnect the ignition coil connector (A).
  4. Remove the ignition coil (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.

REMEDY

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Ignition coil mounting bolt: 9.8 to 11.8 N·m

Inspection

  1. Measure the resistance between terminals 2 and 4 of the primary coil.

    STANDARD VALUE: 0.607 Ω ± 15% [20 °C]
