DEPOSIT

  1. Remove the fuel pump. (Refer to Fuel System - "Fuel Pump".)
  2. Disconnect the fuel pump motor connector (A) and the fuel pump module connector (B).
  3. Remove the main assembly (A) from the fuel pump after removing the retaining clip (B).

Inspection

  1. Visually inspect the following items.
    • Cracks or leaks in the canister
    • Incorrect connection, kinks, or damage to the evaporation hose
    A: Reservoir ↔ Atmosphere B: Canister ↔ Intake Manifold C: Canister ↔ Fuel Tank

REMEDY

  1. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
