Infants and small children must be secured in a rear-facing or forward-facing child restraint system (CRS) that is properly installed on the vehicle seat. Read and follow the installation and use instructions provided by the child restraint manufacturer.

WARNING

  • Always follow the child restraint manufacturer's instructions for installation and use.
  • Always secure the child properly in the child restraint system.
  • Do not use a car bed or child safety seat that "hooks" over the seatbacks; it may not provide proper protection in a crash.
  • After an accident, we recommend that a HYUNDAI dealer inspect the child restraint system, seat belts, ISOFIX anchorages, and top tether anchorages.
