If your vehicle has a roof rack, you can load cargo onto the roof of the vehicle.
NOTICE
If the vehicle is equipped with a sunroof, do not load cargo on the roof rack in a way that could interfere with the operation of the sunroof.
NOTICE
- When carrying cargo on the roof rack, take the necessary precautions to make sure the cargo does not damage the roof of the vehicle.
- When carrying large items on the roof rack, make sure they do not exceed the overall length or width of the roof.
WARNING
- The following specification is the maximum weight that can be loaded onto the roof rack. Distribute the load evenly across the roof rack and secure the cargo firmly.
Loading cargo or luggage beyond the specified roof rack weight limit may damage your vehicle. - The vehicle's center of gravity will be higher when items are loaded on the roof rack. Avoid sudden starts, braking, sharp turns, abrupt maneuvers, or high speeds, which may result in loss of vehicle control or rollover in an accident.
- Always drive slowly and turn carefully when carrying items on the roof rack. Strong upward air currents caused by passing vehicles or natural causes may push up sharply on items loaded on the roof rack. This is especially true when carrying large flat items, such as wooden panels or mattresses. This may cause items to fall from the roof rack and damage your vehicle or injure other people around you.
- To avoid damage to or loss of cargo while driving, regularly check before and during driving to make sure items on the roof rack are securely fastened.
