Front Ventilated Seats
In this manual: Your Vehicle's Safety System
~1min read

Ventilated seats are designed to cool the front seats by blowing air through small ventilation holes on the surfaces of the seat cushions and seatbacks.
When ventilated seat operation is not required, keep the switches in the OFF position.
With the engine running, press the switch to cool the driver's seat or front passenger seat (if equipped).
- Each time the switch is pressed, the airflow changes as follows:

- If the switch is pressed and held for more than 1.5 seconds while ventilation is on, the seat operation will turn off.
- The ventilated seats are set to OFF by default each time the ignition is turned on. Set the switch to ON.
NOTICE
To prevent damage to the ventilated seat:
- Use the ventilated seat ONLY when the climate control system is on. Using the ventilated seat for a long period of time with the climate control system off may cause the ventilated seat to malfunction.
- Never use solvents such as paint thinner, benzene, alcohol, or gasoline to clean the seats.
- Avoid getting liquids on the front seat surface and seatback; this may cause the ventilation holes to become blocked and not operate properly.
- Do not place materials such as plastic bags or newspapers under the seats. They may block the air intake, causing the ventilation holes to operate improperly.
- Do not modify the seat covers. This may damage the ventilated seat.
- If the ventilation holes do not operate, restart the vehicle. If there is no change, we recommend that you have your vehicle inspected at an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
