Front Door Latch Repair Procedures

Replacement

1. 1
   Remove the front door outside handle. (Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Outside Handle")

   Loosen the front door latch mounting screws.

   Tightening torque: 6.9–10.8 N·m

   Loosen the front mounting screw of the outside handle base.

   Tightening torque: 3.9 ~ 7.8 N·m

   After loosening the mounting nuts, remove the front door channel (A).

   Tightening torque: 3.9 ~ 5.9 N·m

   Disconnect the front door lock connector (A).

   Remove the front door outside handle base bracket (A).

   

7. 7
   After loosening the front door outside handle rod (A), remove the front door outside handle base (B).

   

8. 8
   To install, reverse the removal procedure.
