Inspection

Pressure Sensor Inspection Procedure
Measure the pressure sensor resistance
  1. Turn the ignition off.
  2. Disconnect the pressure sensor connector.
  3. Measure the resistance between the sensor terminal and the terminal.
  4. Check the measured resistance. (Refer to the table)
    Terminal Resistance
    PIN 2 – PIN 3 2.755 – 4.133 kΩ
    PIN 1 – PIN 3 1.892 – 2.838 kΩ
    PIN 1 – PIN 2 1.714 – 2.838 kΩ

Removal

  1. Remove the coupling assembly. (Refer to Coupling Assembly – Removal)
  2. Remove the extension cable (A).
  3. Remove the pressure sensor (A) using a 24 mm socket.

    Tightening torque: 7.8–9.8 N·m

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
