Removal

  1. Remove the dual clutch transmission. (Refer to DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) - "DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission)").
  2. Remove the external damper flywheel (A). (Refer to Cylinder Block - "External Damper Flywheel")
  3. Remove the rear oil seal (A).

Installation

  1. Install the rear oil seal.
    1. Apply engine oil to the lip of the new oil seal.
    2. Using the SST (09231-H1100, 09231-2B200) and a hammer, drive in the oil seal until its surface is flush with the rear oil seal retainer edge.
  2. Remove the external damper flywheel (A). (Refer to Cylinder Block - "External Damper Flywheel")
  3. Remove the dual clutch transmission. (Refer to Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) - "Dual Clutch Transmission Assembly")
