Replacement

[LH]

  1. Remove the rear seat back trim [LH]. (Refer to Rear Seat - "Rear Seat Back Cover")
  2. Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the rear seat latch (A).
  3. Remove the rear seat latch rod (B) in the direction indicated by the arrow.

    Tightening torque: 16.7–26 N·m

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

[RH]

  1. Remove the rear seat back trim [RH]. (Refer to Rear Seat - "Rear Seat Back Cover")
  2. Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the rear seat latch (A).
  3. Remove the rear seat latch rod (B) in the direction indicated by the arrow.

    Tightening torque: 16.7–26 N·m

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
