  • An assistant is required when removing and installing the hood lift support.
  • When removing the clips, use a clip remover.
  1. Using a screwdriver, carefully pry up the clips (A) on both ends of the lift support (B).

  2. Insert the lift support socket into the bracket for installation.

    • Make sure the hood latches/unlatches and opens/closes properly.
