1. Rear Spoiler

Repair Procedures

Replacement

  • When removing with a flat-blade screwdriver or puller, wrap the tool with protective tape to prevent damage to the components.
  • Wear gloves to avoid cutting your hands.
  1. Remove the rear door upper trim. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Trim")
  2. Remove the rear spoiler plug hole cover (A) and loosen the mounting nuts. [LH]

  3. Disconnect the rear stop lamp connector (A) and the rear washer nozzle (B).

  4. Loosen the mounting nuts and remove the rear spoiler (A).

    Tightening torque: 2.9–3.9 N·m

  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    • Make sure the connector is properly connected.
    • Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
