Repair Procedures

Inspection

  1. After connecting the washer motor to the reservoir, fill the reservoir with washer fluid.

    Before filling the reservoir with water, check the filter for foreign material or contamination. If necessary, clean the filter.
  2. Remove the front bumper cover. (Refer to Body - "Front Bumper Cover")
  3. Connect the positive (+) and negative (-) battery cables to terminals 3 and 2, respectively, to check that the washer motor operates and water is supplied.
  4. Check that the motor operates normally. Replace the motor if it operates abnormally.
