Description and Operation

ICU (Integrated Central Control Unit) is an integrated model of the intelligent junction block and central gateway. It performs the function of a conventional "Smart Junction Block" and the function of a communication device "Central Gateway".

Battery Monitoring System. When there is a risk of battery discharge due to excessive current consumption by electrical devices, such as the black box, with the engine off, the system warns the customer of battery discharge through a warning message on the cluster. The battery sensor detects excessive battery current consumption, and the Integrated Central Control Unit (ICU) records the battery discharge history. When battery discharge is detected, a message warning the customer is displayed on the instrument cluster, and the battery is charged by the alternator when the engine starts. The recorded history can be checked with the diagnostic tool's additional function: "Check Battery Discharge Warning History".

Checking Battery Discharge Warning History

• This function allows checking the history of excessive battery charge consumption of the parked vehicle.
• The driving distance and SOC can be checked when battery consumption was excessive, as well as current SOC information.

Using the diagnostic tool, the "Check Battery Discharge Warning History" function is implemented in the ICU.

1. Variant Coding Procedure
   1. Read the specification information for the front view camera installed in the vehicle before replacing it with a new front view camera.
   2. Connect the diagnostic tool cable to the data link connector located on the lower instrument panel on the driver's side, and turn on the diagnostic tool.
   3. Select "Software Management" and "Vehicle Model".

      

   4. Select "Integrated Central Control Unit" and "Check Battery Discharge Warning History".
