Walk-In Seat (2nd Row Seat)

To get in or out of the 3rd row seat,

1. Route the seat belt through the rear seat belt clip. After inserting the seat belt, tighten the strap by pulling it upward.

2. Press the idle switch located on the top (1) of the 2nd row seatback or the side (2) of the seat cushion.

3. The 2nd row seatback will fold down and the seat will slide fully forward.

After getting in or out, slide the 2nd row seat fully rearward and firmly pull the seatback back until it clicks.

Make sure the seat is locked in place.

WARNING

Never attempt to adjust the seat while the vehicle is moving or while the 2nd row seat is occupied, as the seat may move suddenly and injure the passenger seated in it.

WARNING

• If the idle switch does not work, pull the strap (1) located at the lower left side of the seat. Then you can move the 2nd row seat forward.
  (7-passenger vehicles
  - Left seat: lower right side
  - Right seat: lower left side; 8-passenger vehicle
  - Right seat: lower left side)
• Never attempt to pull the strap (1) while the 2nd row seat is occupied, as the seat may move suddenly and injure the passenger seated in it. Use the strap only when the switch does not work.
