Repair Procedures

DEPOSIT

ROOF ANTENNA
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the headliner. (Refer to Body - "Roof Trim")
  3. Disconnect the roof antenna connector and cable (A).
  4. Remove the roof antenna by loosening the nut (A).

REMEDY

Roof Antenna
  1. Connect the roof antenna cables and connectors.
  2. Install the headliner.

Inspection

ANTENNA CABLE
  1. Check for continuity between the center conductor of the antenna cable.
  2. Check for continuity between the outer conductor of the antenna cable. There should be continuity.
  3. If there is no continuity, replace the antenna cable.
  4. Check for continuity between the center conductor (A) and outer conductor (B) of the antenna cable. There should be no continuity.
  5. If there is continuity, replace the antenna cable.
