COMPONENTS

The following describes how to set up the AEB system.
  • Detection device (radar and camera) capable of recognizing potential obstacles ahead.
  • Human-machine interface (HMI) for notifying the driver or changing settings.
  • Brake system for automatic braking of the vehicle.
Unlike SCC (Smart Cruise Control), AEB must operate on a stationary vehicle, since the system uses the synthesis system to activate the radar and camera.
