Components and Component Location

COMPONENTS

1. Shift knob assembly and boot
2. Shift lever assembly
3. Shift cable		 4. Select cable
5. Retainer
6. 4th fixed pin

Repair Procedures

DEPOSIT

  1. Remove the shift knob and the shift lever boot (A) by turning counterclockwise.
  2. Remove the floor console assembly. (Refer to Body group - "Floor Console")
  3. Disconnect the wiring connector (A).
  4. Disconnect the shift cable (B) and select cable (C) after removing the snap ring (A).
  5. Remove the shift lever after removing the bolts (B - 4 pcs).

    Tightening torque: 8.8 - 13.7 N·m

REMEDY

  1. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
