  • If the interior temperature is too high, open the windows to ventilate the vehicle before using the system.
  • Do not copy or use MP3/WMA files without permission. Use only legally created discs.
  • Never use volatile substances such as benzene or thinner, conventional cleaners, or anti-static spray intended for vinyl records on CDs.
  • To avoid damaging the disc surface, handle CDs by the edges or the center hole.
  • Clean the CD surface with a soft cloth before use (wipe from the center toward the edges).
  • Be careful not to damage the CD surface or attach anything to it.
  • Be careful not to insert any objects other than CDs into the CD slot. (Only one disc at a time.)
  • Store CDs in their cases to protect them from dust and prevent scratches.
  • Depending on the type (CD-R/CD-RW), some discs may not play correctly (according to the manufacturer's specifications). Continued use of these discs may cause the audio system to malfunction.

Information - Regarding the use of incompatible copy-protected audio CDs

Some copy-protected CDs that do not conform to the international standards for audio CDs (Red Book) may not play in your audio system. Note that failure to read a copy-protected CD correctly may be caused by a disc defect rather than the player.
