1. Pull the strap to release the seatback lock.

2. Carefully lower the seat cushion into the normal seating position. The seat bottom will remain in place under its own weight.

WARNING

Make sure the engine is off, the shift lever is in P (Park), and the parking brake is firmly applied whenever loading or unloading cargo. Failure to follow these steps may allow the vehicle to move if the shift lever is accidentally moved out of position.

PLEDGE

Be careful when loading cargo through the rear passenger seats to prevent damage to the vehicle interior.

WARNING

Cargo must always be secured to prevent it from being thrown around the vehicle in an accident and causing injury to vehicle occupants. Do not place items on the rear seats, as they cannot be properly secured and may strike the front passengers in a collision.
