• Never repair the vehicle on the roadway or highway.
• To replace a wheel, be sure to pull off onto the shoulder of the road.
Use the jack only on level, solid ground. If there is no solid, level place on the shoulder of the road, call a towing service for assistance.
• Use only the jacking points provided at the front and rear of the vehicle; never place the jack against the bumpers or any other part of the vehicle.
• A vehicle raised on a jack may suddenly roll off and cause serious injury or death. Never allow any part of your body to be under a vehicle supported only by a jack; use safety stands.
• Never turn the ignition on or start the engine while the vehicle is raised on a jack.
• Never allow anyone to remain in the vehicle while it is raised on a jack.
