Inspection

  1. Disconnect the back-up light switch connector (A).
  2. Check continuity between terminals No. 1 and 2 of the back-up light switch. When the shift lever is in the reverse position, there should be continuity.
  3. If necessary, repair or replace the back-up light switch.

Replacement

  1. Disconnect the back-up light switch connector (A).
  2. Remove the back-up light switch (A).
  3. Replace it with a new one and install the back-up light switch.

    Tightening torque: 39.2 ~ 59 N·m
