Defogging Logic

To reduce the possibility of fogging on the inside of the windshield, the air intake or air conditioning is controlled automatically according to certain conditions such asorposition. To cancel or return to the anti-fog logic, perform the following steps:

Manual Climate Control System

1. Turn the ignition key to the ON position.

2. Select the defrost position by pressing the defrost button ( ).

3. Press the air intake control button at least 5 times within 3 seconds.

The indicator in the air intake control button will flash 3 times at 0.5 second intervals. This indicates that the anti-fog logic has been canceled or returned to the programmed state.

If the battery is discharged or disconnected, the system resets to the pre-programmed anti-fog logic.

Automatic Climate Control System

1. Turn the ignition key to the ON position.

2. Select the heater position by pressing the heater button ( ).

3. While holding down the air conditioner (A/C) button, press the air intake control button at least 5 times within 3 seconds.

The A/C display will flash 3 times at 0.5 second intervals. This indicates that the anti-fog logic is being canceled or returned to the programmed state.

If the battery is discharged or disconnected, the system resets to the pre-programmed anti-fog logic.
