Inspection

  1. Check the resistance of the hands-free remote switch between terminals No. 4 and No. 5 in each switch position. [Call + Hang up]

    Call 4-5 (Left) 40.91 kΩ 2.96 V

Removal

  1. Remove the driver airbag module. (Refer to RT group - "Airbag Module")
  2. Remove the steering wheel. (Refer to ST group - "Steering Column and Shaft")
  3. Remove the steering wheel rear cover (A) after loosening the screws.
  4. Remove the hands-free remote switch (A) after loosening the screws.

Installation

  1. Install the hands-free remote switch to the steering wheel face plate.
  2. Install the steering wheel and face plate.
  3. Connect the hands-free remote switch connector and the airbag connectors.
    Make sure the switch connector is connected correctly.
  4. Install the driver airbag module.
