The hazard warning flasher should be used whenever you need to stop your vehicle in a hazardous location. When you must make such an emergency stop, always move the vehicle as far off the road as possible.

The hazard warning flasher is turned on and off by pressing the hazard switch. This causes all turn signal indicators to flash. The hazard warning flasher will operate even when the ignition switch is in the LOCK/OFF position.
