Removal

  1. Remove the center console. (Refer to "Console" in Group BD)
  2. Remove the lock pin (A) and clip (B).
  3. Remove the clip (A), then remove the shift cable assembly.
  4. Remove the shift lever assembly (A).

    Tightening torque: 8.8 - 13.7 N·m

  5. Installation is the reverse of removal.
    • When installing, set the shift lever in the passenger compartment and the side shift lever of the T/M to the neutral position.
    • When installing, adjust the control cable. (Refer to Control Cable Adjustment Procedure in this group.)
