Carbon Monoxide Warnings

~1min read
  • Do not breathe exhaust gas. It contains carbon monoxide, a colorless and odorless gas that can kill. Never run the engine in an enclosed area such as a garage, and never sit in a parked vehicle with the engine running for a prolonged period. If the vehicle is stopped in an open area with the engine running for a short period, adjust the ventilation system to force fresh outside air into the vehicle.
  • Protect yourself from carbon monoxide with proper maintenance. Have the exhaust system inspected every time the vehicle is raised. Repair any abnormal conditions promptly. Before driving with any windows open, repair the condition. Drive with all side windows fully open until repaired.
