Passenger Transport
DO NOT TRANSPORT PASSENGERS IN THE CARGO AREA.
- Never leave children or animals inside parked vehicles in hot weather. Interior heat buildup may result in serious injury or death.
- It is extremely dangerous to ride in a cargo area, inside or outside of the vehicle. In a collision, people riding in these areas are more likely to be seriously injured or killed.
- Do not allow people to ride in any area of your vehicle that is not equipped with seats and seat belts.
- Make sure that everyone in your vehicle is in their proper seat and is using the seat belt properly.
Pet Transport
Deployment of a front passenger airbag can cause injury to your pet. An unrestrained pet can be thrown against the interior and may be injured, or may injure a passenger during sudden braking or in a collision.
Pets should be restrained in the rear seat (if equipped) using a pet harness or carrier that is secured with the seat belts.
