The radio has the following modes:

• IS
• FM
• SiriusXM® Satellite Radio (if equipped)

Press the "Radio" button on the touchscreen to enter Radio mode. Other tuner modes AM, FM, and SXM can then be selected by pressing the corresponding buttons in Radio mode.

Volume/Power Knob

Press the Volume/Power knob to turn the Uconnect system on and off.

The electronic Volume knob rotates continuously (360 degrees) in either direction without stopping. Turning the Volume/Power knob clockwise increases the volume, and counterclockwise decreases it.

When the audio system is turned on, the volume will be set to the same level as when it was last played.

Mute Button

Press the Mute button to mute or unmute the audio system.

Tune/Scroll Control

Turn the Tune/Scroll knob clockwise to increase or counterclockwise to decrease the radio station frequency. Press the Enter/Browse knob to select an option.

Seek

Seek up and down functions are activated by pressing the double-arrow buttons on the touchscreen to the right and left of the radio station display, or by pressing the up or down steering wheel audio control button.

Seek Upand Seek Down

Press and release the Seek Up button.or Seek DownThe button seeks the radio to the next available station or channel. During the seek up/down function, if the radio reaches the starting station after passing through the entire band twice, the radio stops on the station where it began.

Fast Seek Upand Fast Seek Down

Press and hold, then release the Seek Up button.or Seek DownThe button advances the radio through available stations or channels at a faster rate. The radio stops on the next available station or channel when the touchscreen button is released.

NOTE:

Press and hold the Seek Up buttonor Seek DownThe button scans through the frequency band at a slower rate.

Information — If Equipped

Press the "Info" button to display information related to the current song and radio station.

Direct Tune

Press the Tune button located at the bottom of the radio screen to directly tune to the desired radio station or channel.

Press the available number buttons on the touchscreen to begin entering the desired station. After entering a number, any numbers that are no longer possible (stations that cannot be reached) will be deactivated/grayed out.

Cancel

You can delete an entry by pressing the Back button.button on the touchscreen.

GO

After the last digit of the station is entered, press "GO". The Direct Tune screen will close, and the system will automatically tune to that station.

Radio Voice Commands

Use your voice to quickly go to the AM, FM, or SiriusXM® satellite radio stations you would like to hear. (SiriusXM® satellite radio subscription or trial required.)

Press the Voice Recognition (VR) buttonPress the voice recognition button on the steering wheel and wait for the beep to say a command. See examples below:

• "Tune to FM ninety-five point five."
• "Tune to Satellite Channel 1 Hits"

Did you know: At any time, if you are unsure of what to say or want to learn a voice command, press the VR buttonand say " Help ". The system will provide you with a list of commands.
