Exiting Remote Start Mode

Vehicle Operation After Remote Start: Press and release the unlock button on the key fob to unlock the doors, or unlock the vehicle with Keyless Enter-N-Go (passive entry through the door handle), and disarm the factory alarm system (if equipped). Then, before the 15-minute cycle ends, press and release the ignition START/STOP button.

The remote start system will shut off the engine when the remote start button on the key fob is pressed and released again, or if the engine has been allowed to run for the entire 15-minute cycle. Once the ignition is placed in the ON/RUN position, the climate control will resume previously set operations (temperature, control, etc.).

NOTE:

To avoid unintentional shutdown, the system will shut off for two seconds after receiving a valid remote start request.

For vehicles equipped with Keyless Enter-N-Go passive entry, the message "Remote Start Active - Press START Button" will be displayed in the instrument cluster display until you press the ignition START/STOP button.
