Description

The windshield defroster system prevents the windshield from freezing in winter. It consists of a defroster element in the lower part of the windshield, a switch, and a relay. The IPM receives an input signal from the defroster switch and then controls the relay. Operating conditions are the same as for the rear window defroster system. Since the "L" generator is on, if the defroster switch is turned on, the defroster output is on for 20 minutes.
