To remove the head restraint:

1. Tilt the seatback (2) using the recliner lever or switch (1).

2. Raise the head restraint as far as possible.

3. Press the head restraint lock button (3) and pull the head restraint up (4).

WARNING - Head Restraint Removal

NEVER allow anyone to ride in a seat with the head restraint removed. Head restraints provide critical neck and head support in a crash.

To reinstall the head restraint:

1. Insert the head restraint posts (2) into the holes while pressing the release button (1) or switch (1).

2. Tilt the seatback (4) using the recliner lever or switch (3).

3. Adjust the head restraint to the desired height.

WARNING - Head Restraint Reinstallation

To reduce the risk of head or neck injury, always make sure the head restraint is locked in position and adjusted properly after reinstallation.
