Inspection

Check the continuity between the terminals while operating the wiper and washer switch. If the continuity is not normal, replace the wiper and washer switch.

Removal

  1. Remove the upper and lower steering column shrouds by removing the 3 screws.
  2. Disconnect the wiper switch connector (A) by releasing the part.
  3. If necessary to remove the wiper and washer switch (A), only unlock the wiper switch lock with a tool, without removing the steering wheel and clock spring.

Installation

  1. Install the wiper switch.
  2. Install the upper and lower steering column covers.
