To remove the head restraint:

1. Tilt the seatback (2) using the recliner lever or switch (1).

2. Raise the head restraint as far as possible.

3. Press the head restraint lock button (3) and pull the head restraint up (4).

WARNING - Head Restraint Removal

NEVER allow anyone to ride in a seat with the head restraint removed. Head restraints provide critical neck and head support in a crash.

To reinstall the head restraint:

1. Insert the headrest posts (2) into the holes while pressing the release button or switch (1).

2. Fold the seatback (4) using the lever or switch (3).

3. Adjust the head restraint to the desired height.

WARNING - Head Restraint Reinstallation

To reduce the risk of injury to the head or neck, always check that the headrest is locked in position and properly adjusted after reinstallation.
