Removal

EPB Control Module
  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the connector (A) from the EPB control unit.
  3. Remove the EPB control module mounting nuts (B) and the EPB control module.

    Tightening torque: 9.8 ~ 14.7 N·m

  4. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  5. Remove the floor console upper cover. (Refer to Body - Console)
  6. Remove the EPB switch assembly by loosening the screws (A).

Installation

EPB Control Module
  1. Installation is the reverse of removal.
  2. Make sure the brake operates normally by pressing the EPB switch more than 3 times after installing the EPB module.
  3. Install the EPB switch assembly to the upper console cover.
  4. After connecting the EPB switch connector, install the upper console cover. (Refer to Body - Console)
  5. Connect the negative (-) battery cable.
