Inspection

Front Door Lock Actuator Inspection
  1. Remove the front door trim panel. (Refer to BD group - "Front Door")
  2. Remove the front door module.
  3. Disconnect the 7P connector from the actuator.
  4. Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground as specified in the table. To prevent actuator damage, apply battery voltage only momentarily.
  5. Remove the rear door trim panel. (Refer to BD group - "Rear Door")
  6. Remove the rear door module.
  7. Disconnect the 7P connector from the actuator.
  8. Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground as specified in the table. To prevent actuator damage, apply battery voltage only momentarily.
  9. Remove the trunk trim panel. (Refer to Group BD - "Trunk Lid")
  10. Disconnect the 3P connector from the actuator.
  11. Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground as specified in the table. To prevent actuator damage, apply battery voltage only momentarily.
  12. Remove the front door trim panel. (Refer to Group BD - "Front Door")
  13. Remove the front door module.
  14. Disconnect the 7P connector from the actuator.
  15. Check the continuity between the terminals at each switch position when the key is inserted into the door, according to the table.
  16. Remove the rear door trim panel. (Refer to Group BD - "Rear Door")
  17. Remove the rear door module.
  18. Disconnect the 7P connector from the actuator.
  19. Check the continuity between the terminals at each switch position according to the table.
  20. Remove the trunk lid trim.
  21. Disconnect the 3P connector from the actuator.
  22. Check the continuity between the terminals at each switch position according to the table.
Inspect the Rear Door Lock Actuator
Inspect the Trunk Lid Opener Actuator
Inspect the Front Door Lock Switch
Inspect the Rear Door Lock Switch
Inspect the Trunk Lid Opener Switch
