Inspection

Inspection of Driver Door Lock Switch
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the front door trim panel. (Refer to Group BD - "Front Door")
  3. Disconnect the connector from the power window switch module.
  4. Check the continuity between the terminals at each switch position according to the table.

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the front door trim panel. (Refer to Group BD - "Front Door")
  3. Remove the power window switch module (A) from the door trim panel after loosening the mounting screws (3 pcs).
    • Be careful not to damage the door trim panel and the door module mounting clips.

Installation

  1. Install the power window switch module.
  2. Install the door trim panel after reconnecting the related connectors.
    • Make sure the power window switch module connectors are connected correctly.
    • Make sure the power window switch and the door lock switch operate normally.
