Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)

  1. Connect the GDS to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Start the engine and measure the output voltage of TPS 1 and 2 in KT and V.O.T.

    Specification: Refer to "Specifications"

  3. Turn the ignition off and disconnect the scan tool from the data link connector.
  4. Disconnect the ETC module connector and measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 2 of the ETC module.

    Specification: Refer to "Specifications"

  5. Turn the ignition off.
  6. Disconnect the ETC module connector.
  7. Measure the resistance between terminals 3 and 6 of the ETC module.
  8. Make sure the resistance is within specification.
