Installation of Front Strut Assembly

Install the lower spring pad (D) so that the protrusions (A) align with the holes (C) in the lower spring seat (B).

Compress the coil spring using the special service tool (09546-26000). Install the compressed coil spring onto the shock absorber.

After fully extending the piston rod, install the upper spring seat and insulator assembly.

After installing the upper and lower ends of the coil spring (A) correctly into the upper and lower grooves of the spring seat (B), temporarily tighten a new self-locking nut.

Remove the special service tool (09546-26000).

Tighten the self-locking nut to the specified torque.

Tightening torque: 58.8 - 69 N·m N·m
