  1. Inspect the strut insulator for wear or damage.
  2. Inspect the rubber components for damage or wear.
  3. Compress and extend the piston rod (A) and check that there is no abnormal resistance or unusual noise during operation.
  4. Fully extend the piston rod.
  5. Drill a hole in section A to release the gas from the cylinder.
