  1. Remove the following items:
    A. Front Subframe Assembly (Gasoline 3.3 only) (Refer to Suspension System - "Subframe")
    B. Front Muffler (Gasoline 3.3 only) (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Front Muffler")
    C. Drive Shaft Assembly (Refer to Drive Shaft and Axle - "Front Propeller Shaft")
  2. Remove the propeller shaft (A).

    Tightening Torque: 49.0 ~ 69 N·m

  3. Loosen the upper and lower transfer case mounting bolts. (Transaxle side → Transfer side)
  4. Loosen the lower transfer mounting bracket. (Transfer side → Transaxle side)
