Transfer Fluid Replacement

Remove the under cover. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Engine Room Under Cover")

Drain the transaxle oil after loosening the drain plug (A).

Install the drain plug with a new gasket.

Tightening torque: 58.9 ~ 78 N·m

Remove the fill plug (A). [Gasoline 2.4]

[Gasoline 3.3]

Fill with new oil through the filler hole. Standard oil: Hypoid gear oil, MC 517-I5 GT (SAE 75W/90, API GL-5, SHELL SPIRAX X or equivalent) Oil capacity: Gasoline 2.4: approx. 0.6 L (0.16 US gal, 0.63 US qt, 0.53 Imp qt) Gasoline 3.3: approx. 0.7 L (0.18 US gal, 0.72 US qt, 0.60 Imp qt)

Install the filler plug with a new gasket.

Tightening torque: 39.2 ~ 59 N·m

Install the under cover. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Engine Room Under Cover")
