  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Using a screwdriver or trim tool, remove the center panel (A).
  3. Disconnect the clock connector (A).
  4. Disconnect the heater and air conditioning controller connectors (A).
  5. Remove the heater and A/C control unit (A) from the center panel after loosening the mounting screws.
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
