Radiator Removal and Installation

Disconnect the battery terminals.

Remove the air cleaner assembly. (Refer to Air Intake and Exhaust System - "Air Cleaner").

Remove the under cover. (See Engine and Transaxle Assembly - Engine Room Under Cover)

Loosen the drain plug and drain the coolant. Remove the radiator cap to speed up draining.

Remove the front bumper. (Refer to Body - "Front Bumper Cover")

Remove the upper radiator hose (A) and lower hose (B).

Remove the cooling fan. (Refer to Cooling System - "Cooling Fan")

Separate the condenser (A) from the radiator (B), then remove the radiator assembly.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Fill the radiator with coolant and check for leaks.
NOTE
- Bleed air from the cooling system.
- Start the engine and let it run until warm. (Until the radiator fan operates 3 or 4 times.)
- Stop the engine. Check the coolant level and add coolant if necessary. This removes trapped air from the cooling system.
- Securely install the radiator cap, then restart the engine and check for leaks.
