Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the driver airbag module. (Refer to Restraint System - "Driver Airbag Module (DAB) and Clock Spring")
  3. Remove the steering wheel. (Refer to Steering System - "Steering Column and Shaft")
  4. Disconnect the remote control switch assembly from the steering wheel. (Refer to Steering System - “Steering Wheel”)
  5. Loosen the screw, then remove the remote control switch assembly (A) from the steering wheel housing.
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
