Replacement
  • When installing the seat belt, take care not to damage the pretensioner.
  1. Remove the center pillar upper garnish. (Refer to Body Trim - "Center Pillar Garnish")
  2. After loosening the mounting bolt, remove the front seat belt upper anchor (A).

    Tightening torque: 39.2 ~ 54 N·m

  3. After disconnecting the retractor connector stopper pin, disconnect the front seat belt pretensioner connector (A), loosen the mounting bolt, and then remove the front seat belt pretensioner (B).

    Tightening torque: 39.2 ~ 54 N·m

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
    • Make sure the connectors are connected correctly.
    • Replace all damaged clips.
