Inspection

Main Power Window Switch Inspection
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the front door trim panel. (Refer to Body - "Front Door Trim")
  3. Disconnect the connector (A) from the power window switch module.
  4. Check continuity between terminals at each switch position according to the table. [Driver/Assistant Safety]
    [Driver Auto Down]
  5. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  6. Remove the front door trim panel. (Refer to Body - "Front Door Trim Panel")
  7. Disconnect the connector (A) from the switch.
  8. Check continuity between terminals at each switch position according to the table. If continuity is not normal, replace the switch. [Safety]

  9. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  10. Remove the rear door trim panel. (Refer to Body - "Rear Door Trim")
  11. Disconnect the connector (A) from the switch.
  12. Check the continuity between the terminals of each switch according to the switch position table. If the continuity is not normal, replace the switch. [With Seat Warmer]

Removal

Driver Window Switch
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the front door trim panel. (Refer to Body - "Front Door Trim")
  3. Remove the power window switch assembly (A) by loosening the mounting screws (8EA).
  4. Remove the power window switch assembly (A) after loosening the mounting screws.
  5. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  6. Remove the front door trim panel. (Refer to Body - "Front Door Trim")
  7. Remove the power window switch assembly (A) by loosening the mounting screws (7EA).
  8. Remove the power window switch assembly (A) after loosening the mounting screws.
  9. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  10. Remove the rear door trim panel. (Refer to Body - "Rear Door Trim")
  11. Remove the power window switch assembly (A) by loosening the mounting screws (7EA).
  12. Remove the power window switch assembly (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

Installation

Driver Window Switch
  1. Install the power window switch assembly.
  2. Install the front door trim after connecting the connector.
  3. Install the power window switch assembly.
  4. Install the front door trim after connecting the connector.
  5. Install the power window switch assembly.
  6. Install the front door trim after connecting the connector.
