Inspection

  1. Measure the resistance of the NTC and the heating pad.
    • NTC resistance (Black/Yellow, Black): 10.0 kΩ ± 10% (25 °C)
    • Heating pad resistance (yellow, black) - 1.6 ~ 2.0 Ω ± 10%
  2. Measure the temperature.
    • The steering wheel surface temperature should increase from -20°C to 20 °C within 6 minutes
    • The steering wheel surface temperature should be maintained within 38 °C ± 4 °C after 25 minutes
    • At this time, turn on all measurement points (1~8).
