In-Car Sensor (DATC only) Description and Operation

~1min read

Description

The in-car temperature sensor is built into the heater and air conditioning control unit. The sensor contains a thermistor that measures the interior temperature. The signal is determined by the resistance value, which changes according to the sensed interior temperature, and is sent to the heater control unit. According to this signal, the control unit adjusts the vehicle interior temperature to the set value.
